Delegates in the School of Management
Join us as we discuss how business schools can shape the next generation of managers.

This event will explore how business schools can champion the sustainability agenda by fostering a shift in management education.

In the midst of the profound challenges posed by the climate crisis, business schools stand at a crossroads. It is increasingly important to prepare future leaders who can address these issues, while also championing sustainable practices.

As the traditional focus of profit maximisation and enhanced competitiveness is coming under scrutiny, business schools must spearhead efforts to redefine the role of managers in society.

Event focus

This event is being organised in connection with the British Journal of Management’s (BJM) Special Issue on 'Learning to Manage in a Changing Climate Through Epistemic Change'.

It provides an opportunity for prospective contributors to explore themes around how business schools can drive meaningful change by elevating the role of the natural environment in their curricula.

Registration for this event will close on Monday 25 November 2024

Who is this event for?

This event is open to the public and will be particularly useful for educators, scholars, practitioners, policymakers and postgraduate students.
