Lift enhancement from vortical flows

Dr David Cleaver from the Department of Mechanical Engineering presents on vortical flows research as part of the Fluid Dynamics research unit.

  • 11 Apr 2017, 2.15pm to 11 Apr 2017, 3.05pm BST (GMT +01:00)
  • 2 East, 3.5, University of Bath
  • This event is free
This event is invitation-only

Dr David Cleaver will give an overview of work taking place in the Fluid Dynamics research unit. The research investigates the potential for lift augmentation from vortical flows. In particular, two mechanism will be discussed: convected leading edge vortices and deflected jets.
