Skills Series Interactive has been developed for School of Management alumni and is hosted by Katie Calvert-Jones, Head of International Engagement and Alumni. These sessions are designed to be short and useful for our alumni, offering practical knowledge and skills.

Who is this event for?

This is for you if you want to know what drives career success and how to put that into action in your job role. This session is ideally suited to those who are mid-career but also those starting out who want to prepare early.

This session will be led by Joanna Gaudoin who helps individuals consider the non-technical skills they need at work so they can build better professional relationships to improve day-to-day working and increase their career progression.

Joanna is the author of Getting On: Making work work.

What is the purpose of this event?

To help individuals reflect on what they want to achieve in their career and consider what action they need to take. This session will provide lots of practical guidance that individuals can implement.

The session will include:

  • What drives career success and why
  • The implications for how to progress your career
  • Practical guidance on what you can start to do/do more of

On Thursday 18 April you have two opportunities to attend this session which will run live at the following times:

12.30pm - 1.30pm BST (GMT +01:00) Find out what time this is in your time zone

To register you will need to provide your ID which is included in your email invitation.

Just register once and you will be provided with links to both sessions. You are welcome to attend either session.

If you have not received an invitation please email alumni@management.bath.ac.uk and request your ID by providing your first name, surname, date of birth, most recent course of study and year of completion.

‘Skills Series Interactive’ has been developed to offer practical knowledge and skills for School of Management alumni. To encourage attendee interaction these sessions will not be recorded.
