This course is for:
- all undergraduate and postgraduate students who use English as a first or second language
- students from any faculty or department.
You will learn about basic presentation skills and structure, with plenty of opportunities to practise delivering presentations.
You will learn the structure of a good presentation, key phrases, opening and closing statements and how to use your body language to make a good impression.
You will learn how to make effective visual aids, cite images correctly and how to make your presentations interesting and memorable.
You will practise planning, creating and giving presentations to your class and get support and feedback.
This course will take place on Wednesdays in weeks 20-27 and 30-31.
