Spark: Spotting Great Ideas 2022

This one-day workshop will equip you with the practical skills and working knowledge of taking research innovation beyond the lab and into the marketplace.

Testimonial

A Researcher in the Department of Physics who attended a previous workshop said:

The workshop was extremely engaging and highly informative. All the speakers who attended knew their audience, kept a dynamic pace, and pitched everything at the right level - I think everyone came out having learned a lot. It was also great to interact with a community of like-minded people who were looking to develop their entrepreneur focused skills and learn how to make the most of the very unique skill set...This was by far the best workshop I've attended at the University so far, and I'll definitely be attending similar ones in the future.

Facilitators

The workshops are facilitated by Dr Ben Miles and Dr Maddy Nichols at Spin Up Science, with support from Research and Innovation Services (RIS) at the University of Bath.
