Starting from w/c 10 June, every Wednesday lunch time between 12.30 - 2.30pm the Skills Centre (Foreign Languages) will host a ‘Summer of films’ programme. We will be screening 10 films for 10 consecutive weeks in the Language Learning Zone (Library, level 3, room 3.10).

You are invited to choose the films we will screen. You may choose 10 movies, at least 5 of them in a foreign language (any) and the selection needs to be made from our DVD collection in the Library (located at the entrance floor of the Library near the Issue Desk). The person who ‘designs’ the best movie list will receive £25 in Picturehouse vouchers. In choosing the films for your list, we ask you to keep in mind not just whether you liked the movie or how popular it is, but also that the list has a wide variety of genres and the films portray some elements of social culture.

We would also ask you to spread the word about our competition among your friends. The competition will close on 3 June, so start choosing!
