Healthcare is evolving rapidly, and our new University strategy makes it clear that we should be building on existing activities and considering new initiatives to support those changes. The Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Bath (RUH) is an obvious and most important partner to us.

We are hosting Cara Charles-Barks (CEO) and Bernie Marden (Medical Director) at the University who will be presenting their ambition for the future of the RUH, and of healthcare in the region.

Following the presentation from the RUH, there will be a question and answer session chaired by Professor Nick Pearce from our Institute for Policy Research. The purpose of this session is to learn and understand the ambitions and needs of the RUH and to consider how the University can support the RUH in meeting their goals.

This is a great opportunity to engage with the RUH that promises to be both interesting and informative. We ask that you please register your attendance. We are expecting to hold this event in person and on campus. Registration is important so that we can manage numbers and ensure that the event is safe for everyone.
