All are welcome to join us for the 2023 Vice-Chancellor's Engage Awards. You'll have the chance to find out about the shortlisted project for the 2023 awards, meet colleagues from across the University and hear the announcement of the winners of the 2023 Vice-Chancellor's Engage Awards.
You'll also be able to view the Engage Showcase featuring public engagement projects from across the University and view the Images of Research exhibition.
The Vice-Chancellor’s Engage Awards aims to reward the work of colleagues from across the University of Bath who are engaging non-academic audiences with their work. We are looking to celebrate excellence in public engagement with research that clearly demonstrates the mutual benefit of the engagement and recognise a strong commitment to public engagement in the University and local area.
The Edge has steps and a ramp leading to the entrance. The doors are double-width and automatic. There is wheelchair access to the building. There is a designated drop off point at the side of the building and dedicated accessible parking in the East car park.
Find more information about the accessibility of The Edge on DisabledGo.
The event will be a standing event, but there will be a selection of basic seating across the event space. Facilities at the event include an accessible toilet and a designated quiet space.
We would ask that anyone who is unwell to please not attend the event. FFP3 masks will be freely available for anyone who wishes to use them.
The Images of Research exhibition panels are accompanied by additional large print text guides. The video content used in the Showcase will be subtitled. There is a hearing loop by request at the event.
