Join us for an information session to find out more about the 2023 United Kindom Research and Innovation (UKRI) Policy Fellowship programme call. The programme enables researchers to collaborate with a UK or devolved government host, or What Works Network centre, on research activity to address pressing national and global challenges.
The fellowship will give you the opportunity to co-design research with the host organisation to inform policy on a priority area, and improve the exchange of knowledge between policy and academic institutions.
Policy Fellowships are available across a wide range of government departments and are open to academics of all disciplines. The closing date for applications is 20 April 2023.
Colleagues from Research and Innovation Services (RIS) will introduce the call, outline the application process, and provide tips on applying. This will be followed by informal talks from academics sharing their experience with policy fellowships:
- Dr. Katie Maras who is currently doing a Policy Fellowship with the Home Office
- Dr. Christina Demski who did a secondment as Net Zero Public Engagement Advisor in The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS)
You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the call during this information session.
