It is an extremely important time to be studying public policy, the rapidly changing policy landscape highlights how government officials must respond to the global and domestic pressures which influence businesses, households and individuals. It is therefore imperative policy professionals have the appropriate analytical tools in order to respond to complex challenges, identify new or reform existing programmes ultimately to raise living standards and ensure society is prosperous.

The University of Bath’s part-time MSc Public Policy is run by a team of skilled, experienced and enthusiastic public policy specialists. They include political scientists, economists, policy anthropologists and sociologists, and digital specialists. The programme offers students the opportunity to understand what we mean by public policy, how policies are formulated, implemented and evaluated. Taught part-time to suit working professionals located worldwide, the course is taught using a variety of formats including in-person intensive and hybrid residentials, which are supplemented by online events.
