In the 21st Century, the requirements of a growing and ageing population will have a significant impact on society. With the global population expected to reach 8.5 bn by 2030 and 11.2 bn by the end of the century, demand on resources such as water, energy, food, and raw materials will be greater than anything we have experienced. How do we meet the expectations of a modernised, global society whilst minimising the impact we have on our environment?

Presenter
