Coach service details

Our FREE coaches run from 9am until 8pm on Saturday 21 September and Sunday 22 September 2019 from London Heathrow Terminal 3 direct to the University of Bath campus.

Choosing your collection time

If you have not booked your flights yet please ensure you book a flight that lands at any Heathrow terminal BEFORE 5pm on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September. We cannot offer a place on our last coach departing the same day at 8pm to anyone on a flight that arrives after 5pm.

How to book

Our online booking page has full instructions on how to book. You must have all your flight details before you book.

Arriving before Saturday 21 or after Sunday 22 September 2019

If you arrive before Saturday 21 or at any other airport, you may still book a seat on one of our coaches. If you arrive after 5pm on Sunday 22 September, you need to arrange your own transport to Bath.

Your luggage allowance

Space on the coach is limited. You can bring:

  • two large suitcases
  • one item of hand luggage
  • one laptop bag

Your suitcases must be no bigger than these measurements. Your hand luggage must be small enough to fit into the overhead rack or beneath your seat on the coach.

If your luggage is over the allowance, you will have to arrange your own transport to Bath.

You can send your belongings directly to the University for collection when you arrive.

Finding us at the airport

International Welcome Ambassadors, wearing yellow T-shirts, will be waiting for you at the meeting point in Terminal 3. This is on the ground floor of the arrivals area, next to the tourist information.

Arriving at another terminal

There are free transfers between Heathrow Airport's four terminals.

You can take a train or bus from Terminal 4 or 5 to Heathrow Central Station. The Central Station is a short walk from Terminal 3.

If you miss your coach

We'll try to find a place for you on the next available service. If this is not possible you may need to arrange your own travel to Bath.

International Welcome Ambassadors will be available to assist you during the day.

If you arrive after the last coach has left on Saturday, you can book accommodation at Heathrow and come on the first coach on Sunday if there is space.

If you arrive after the last coach has left on Sunday, you will have to arrange your own transport to Bath.
