Brendon Court is catered accommodation for first year undergraduate students in the north of campus.
About this accommodation
Brendon Court is a catered accommodation block for 126 first year undergraduate students on campus.
It is in the north of our Claverton Down campus, a two-minute walk to the Library and Students' Union.
Brendon Court has:
- secure swipe card access to buildings
- communal toilets and bathrooms, each shared by about five students
- secure bike storage
The bedrooms in Brendon Court give you personal space to work and relax.
Each room has:
- standard 91cm x 183cm single bed with reading light
- wash basin
- desk, chair and drawers
- high-speed Wi-Fi and ethernet
- built-in wardrobe
Kitchens and dining
Although Brendon Court is catered accommodation, you can use the communal kitchenettes to prepare snacks and light meals.
In there you will find:
- breakfast bar and stools
- electric hob
- cupboard storage space
- recycling facilities
There is a large communal lounge on the ground floor with:
- TV with Freeview
- sofa and bean bags
- table and chairs
- HDMI connectivity
- games console
Accommodation for students with disabilities
If you have a disability, there are four ground floor rooms in Brendon Court designed to meet your needs. These rooms are within standard accommodation.
We can make further adaptions to rooms if necessary.
We have additional rooms for students with disabilities across our on-campus accommodation.
Brendon Court is made up of one building with four floors.
There are between 21 and 39 bedrooms on each floor.
Your room details contain your building, floor and room number.
For example, the room number B2.02 means you are located in Brendon Court, second floor, room two.

At the start of the academic year you can elect a Hall Representative.
The Students’ Union supports Hall Representatives to organise social and community-building events.
Hall Representatives collect student feedback about living in the accommodation. They discuss this with the University and the Students’ Union to make sure your voices are heard.
