Elect a member of Academic Assembly to serve on Senate

The process for electing a member of Academic Assembly to serve on Senate, including the job specification and nomination form.

How to nominate

Members of Academic Assembly can nominate candidates to fill casual vacancies.

You can submit a nomination either in writing or by email.

Read the procedure followed by Academic Assembly to elect a member to serve on Senate.

After submission, candidates must submit a supporting statement of no more than 100 words. This will be circulated with the voting paper.

Written nomination

The proposer and seconder must both sign the written nomination form. The candidate should provide a declaration that they will serve on Senate if elected and submit this with the form. Submit the form to Clare Henderson in 4 West 3.4.

Email nomination

The proposer and seconder should each send an email to Clare Henderson at m.c.henderson@bath.ac.uk to confirm their nominee. The candidate should also send an email to declare that they will serve on Senate if elected.

The deadline for nominations is 5pm on Friday 30 November 2018.
