Employer events are a major feature of our event programme. They give you an opportunity to meet students in person or virtually and promote your organisation.
Give our students the opportunity to learn about your company and sector. You can choose to engage students virtually, on or off campus over lunch or early evening. We can support your recruitment by advising you on how best to target specific cohorts.
We are flexible and able to adapt our offering to support your recruitment goals, and can design a bespoke recruitment campaign for you.
Recruitment presentations
Presentations provide an excellent opportunity to engage directly with students and showcase your organisation in detail. These sessions can be delivered on-campus or virtually, typically over lunch or in the early evening to maximise student attendance. Whether you're looking to introduce your company culture, outline career opportunities, or target specific degree disciplines, our presentations offer a focused environment to connect with motivated students actively considering their career options.

Employer presentations and stands do incur a charge. We have a variety of packages available to suit different budgets and recruitment needs.

Working with us
Employer-led events and workshops are organised by our Employer Engagement Team, which is a small, friendly team that coordinates all cross-university employer activity from our Autumn Careers Fair through to bespoke events. The team works closely with a wide variety of employers, helping them to connect with our students and recent graduates.

Parade stands
Position your organisation right at the heart of campus life along the Parade, the main walkway through campus. These high-visibility locations give you maximum exposure as students pass by throughout the day - perfect for generating awareness and encouraging informal conversations.
Key dates
We host employer events during both semesters of the academic year, which runs from September to July:
- Semester 1 (Autumn term): October to November – bookings normally open early summer
- Semester 2 (Spring term): February to April – bookings normally open from early December
We're happy to accommodate events outside these timeframes, though student engagement may be lower during exam periods and holidays.
