You will need access to the internet. You will need Adobe Reader 10 or later installed on your device and set as the default program for opening pdfs. If your browser has an inbuilt PDF viewer (e.g., Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome) you will need to disable it before you can read the document.
To disable the PDF viewer in Google Chrome type chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments into Chrome’s address bar and turn on “Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome”
To disable the PDF viewer in Microsoft Edge (Windows 10): - Click on the Windows button in the bottom left of the screen. - Click on the Settings icon (cog). - Select System> Default Apps> Choose default applications by file type. - Scroll down the very long list until you get to .PDF. - Click on the application name to the right. Windows will display a list of possible options. - Choose Adobe Reader.
You will receive an email from the British Library to your University of Bath email account notifying you that your article is ready to download.
If you are registered for On Demand and the system recognises your email address, you will be prompted to Download your document.
If you are registered for On Demand and the system does not recognise your email address, you will be prompted to enter your On Demand Username or registered email address before you click Download your document. - Click on the “Click to download your document” button and save the file to your preferred location. - Once the file has been saved open it in Adobe Reader. - You will then be prompted to authenticate the document with your British Library username and password.
You are strongly recommend to print a copy for future reference.
