Law Fair: information for employers
Find out further details about attending our Law Fair as an employer.
Event dates & timings
The Law Fair will now be delivered on Wednesday 11 November, 2pm to 5pmas a virtual fair .
What we offer
Careers Fairs remain a popular method for our students to research and meet employers. Following the success of our 2019 Law Fair, we are hosting an annual Law Fair in November. Whilst the University does not offer Law, we often have Law firms and providers of the CPE and GDL active on campus, and we have a growing Student Law Society. The event will be promoted to all years & disciplines via an App and internally including social media channels.
Cost of attendance is TBC - we are still gathering details about delivering this virtually.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for prices. We are compiling this information in the coming weeks having finalised the new provision. Please request further information after Wednesday 13th May when we have more details.
What we know is included:
- Standard entry in our Fair App including company logo, which is promoted to students before the event.
- Unlimited video meeting rooms for each employer, which can be 'phone only' if preferred.
- Appointment Booking between employers & students.
- Employer specific content.
Optional extra: - Sponsorship of the fair web page and featured employer status on the App - pricing TBC.
Cancellation charges apply (being revised)- please request or see last section of the booking form.

Where to find us
Postcode - BA2 7PJ - via Norwood Avenue, which will direct you to the correct area of campus. If you are using public transport and taking a taxi from Bath Spa train station, please ask for the University at Claverton Down, as there are two Universities in Bath.
On campus - details will be added nearer the fair day & emailed to booked employers.
Fair layout plan
Your stand numbers will be available upon arrival. Your pitch space is 3m wide x 2m deep, no height restriction. Tressle tables provided are 1.8m long x 76cm high - please bring a tablecloth if using one.
Couriers/deliveries and exhibitions companies
If using, no deliveries before the day of the Fair please - we cannot accept any deliveries into our office or the Fair venue before the day, nor hold onto any stands/goods for collection the following day. If you are using a courier to bring your stand/other goods, they may only deliver direct to the venue on the day of the fair, after 2pm & collect the day after before 4pm as we cannot offer security of goods later than this. Please forward them these details and ensure that all goods are labelled with the client (not courier) name.
Parking on campus is at a premium and spaces cannot be reserved. Parking fines may be issued (by an external company) to any cars who park in the wrong area/without a permit. Permits for second vehicles cannot be used. If you decide to bring a second car you must use the P&D area - the machines take cash, or via Just Park text & App. See the above Travel page linked for information & prices.
Please ensure you enter campus via the main entrance off Claverton Down Road. Use East Car Park as signposted. One permit, if requested will be emailed to you no later than one week before the fair. You may use any permit space other than the exclusions listed on the permit provided, and you must bring and display this permit in your windscreen on the day.
If East car park is full, we can redirect you to another car park - please ring Victoria on 07891 790132.
If your own staff are bringing your stand or other goods in a car, please follow the signage on the day for parking in East Car Park. You will then need to walk approx. 10 mins to the venue on central campus - directions nearer the day.
We are unable to provide refreshments but the venue is close to a café and Co-Op. There are free water coolers available - please bring your own refillable bottle.
WiFi is now accessible campus wide. Please see the connecting to WiFi guide before the day.
Thank you again for participating and we look forward to seeing you on the day .
