Marie Curie Individual Fellowships 2018
Providing significant financial support to a research fellow, for 12 to 24 months on any research topic.
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship call closes 12 September 2018.
The University of Bath is providing a proposal support service for this year’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships (IF) schemes. Research & Innovation Services (RIS) is providing assistance to Bath's host Principal Investigators (PIs) and fellowship applicants, to help develop their proposals.
The Marie Curie Fellowships provide significant financial support to a Research Fellow for a period of 12-24 months on any research topic. Candidates must have either a doctoral degree or at least 4 years’ full-time research experience, post-Bachelor degree.
Actions being supported
The two actions we are supporting are:
European Fellowship (EF)
This fellowship is designed for researchers willing to develop their career in Europe at the University of Bath, outside their home country. European Fellows may come from any country except the UK. If already in the UK, the Fellow must have been resident for less than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the submission deadline. These schemes can be used to recruit postdoctoral researchers, or host more senior non-UK based research visitors.
Global Fellowship (GF)
Fellows are seconded to a country outside Europe (non-EU/AC country) for 12-24 months, and a mandatory 12 month return to Europe/AC host (Bath). University of Bath academics could apply to this scheme to:
- coincide with a scheduled sabbatical
- attract an EU postdoc back to Bath after a 12-24 month period outside Europe
In both incidents we will work with you and your nominated host on your application.
Recruiting Incoming Fellows
See our list of proposed research projects which incoming fellows might be interested in. This will help academics attract competitive applicants to Bath.
Potential Candidates wishing to come to the University of Bath must contact the PIs directly, whose projects are of interest to you. You can do this either using the advertised research areas or the University of Bath’s Research pages.
