Pathway to Bath Languages

Overview

The language strand of the Pathway to Bath programme will run February to December and will support you to make a strong application to the University of Bath. Throughout the year you will have online activities every 2 weeks that will take 2-3 hours to complete.

You will undertake a project based on a film in your chosen language and get support with A level content as well as getting direct access to current university students who will guide you through the process of choosing and applying to university. Each student will be assigned an e-mentor who is a current student at Bath studying languages.

You will work on a film from the A level curriculum and explore elements such as themes, historical background, camera work or characters in detail, learning essential skills about online research, literature reviews and essay writing in the process. We will guide you through each step of analysing films and structuring your own project.
