UK Government open consultations and calls for evidence

The UK Government website has a live list of open consultations and calls for evidence. These opportunities can be filtered by organisation, status and location, and are regularly updated. While this IPR webpage will highlight notable opportunities, many others may be available on the UK Government site.

UK Universities Climate Network (of which the University of Bath is a member) is compiling a database of climate change expertise to more easily locate experts for opportunities, including engagement with policymakers.

Applications are open for UK Parliament Knowledge Exchange Unit 2024-26 Thematic Research Leads covering the themes of: AI and Digital; Arts and Humanities; Business, Economics and Trade; Climate and Environment; Crime and Justice; Health; International Affairs and National Security; and Transport.

The Foundation for Science and Technology is delivering an online event on AI regulation.

British Council Event in London

A day-long dialogue and networking event that will bring together perspectives of young people across Indonesia, Pakistan, Sudan, Albania, Bangladesh and Iraq to explore their opinions and aspirations on a range of issues from Education to Empowerment.

UPEN-hosted conference at Bath Spa University

An in-person conference ran by the Universities Policy Engagement Network titled: Strengthening and Sustaining Arts and Humanities Evidence Use in the UK. The event includes panels, workshops and opening key notes from Prof. Arlene Holmes-Henderson MBE, Professor of Classics Education and Public Policy at Durham University.

UUCN Innovation Showcase

The UK Universities Climate Network is hosting an online exhibition of climate innovation projects across UK universities to highlight the boldness and creativity of the UK academic sector, and its role in climate innovation. Projects can include climate-related research, case studies and/or business startups.

CSaP Annual Conference

The CSaP Anuual Conference brings together an audience of policy professionals, academic experts and business leaders for a day of talks and presentations, and to share and discuss issues and ideas on a range of topics from innovation and economic growth to climate and sustainability.
