Visiting us

We have an open-campus policy, so you are welcome to come and tour the campus whenever it suits you. It’s best to do this during term-time so you can find out what it’s like when all our students are here and to get a real taste of life at Bath.

If you visit during the week most of our buildings will be open, and if they're not in use you can have a look inside. For certain facilities such as laboratories, you will need to be accompanied by a member of staff; please contact the relevant department at least a week before you visit to check.

Getting to campus

Bath has excellent transport links, and there is a frequent bus service between the city centre and campus. We also have a limited amount of pay and display parking for visitors on campus. Visit our travel advice webpage for further information.

Planning your tour

Once you arrive on campus you will be able to start your self-guided tour at the campus bus terminus. You can download our self-guided tour brochure, or pick one up at the main reception desk in the library (which is clearly signposted from the Bus Stop).

Our Undergraduate Admissions Reception is located on Level 6 of Wessex House, and you can make an appointment to speak to one of our Admissions Team who will be able to answer questions about applying to study at Bath. Admissions staff are on campus during office hours, Monday to Friday.

If you'd like to talk to someone about the content of a specific course, please contact the relevant department at least one week before your visit, to see if they can arrange for someone to meet with you. The university is open during office hours, Monday to Friday.

Our campus accommodation will be occupied so you won't be able to see inside, but you can visit the West Accommodation Centre during the week for information about University accommodation.
