About the role

We are looking for customer focused individuals to join our reception team and support us through the 2020-21 academic year.

The role is within our vibrant Student Accommodation team, based in the accommodation centres on campus and at the Virgil Building in the city.

This varied role is a fantastic opportunity, which will provide you with many skills to draw on in the future.

The role involves administrative duties including but not limited to:

  • managing arrivals and departures
  • preparing keys and cards for arrivals
  • supporting students with their queries
  • solving student issues as they arise
  • liaising with operational departments

Excellent communication skills and pride in good customer service are essential. We also need a calm, organised and flexible approach to cope with the busy and sometimes pressured environment.

The starting date is 5 October, working 36.5 hours a week across five days.

The salary for this role is £10.09 per hour (CW2) including holiday pay.
