Student Living programme of welcome activities

Our activities are a great way to meet other students and explore your new home city of Bath. All sessions are open to everyone.

Once you've moved in to your University accommodation, why not get involved with the activities we have available:

Book club

To help you meet others, have a break from your studies and find a place to broaden your mind, as well as challenge and share your thoughts and opinions with fellow students, your Student Living Ambassadors will be running a book club. Two book groups to choose from, No Tea, No Shade or The Great Gatsby.

Language café

Meet with fellow students from around the world and try your hand at a new language! Your Student Living Ambassadors will be leading sessions in Italian and Spanish. This is a relaxed social event with chances to try out new phrases and words.

When: Italian - Tuesday evenings, Spanish - Thursday evenings

Yoga

Weekly yoga sessions running in the Polden communal space. Classes of 15 running to help your health and wellbeing.

When: Monday evenings and Wednesday afternoons

Meditation

Join qualified meditation teacher, Gemma, in the Student Living Support Lounge for a series of 3 x 1 hour sessions introducing you to meditation. The classes will include meditation practice and theory, with a view to you leaving fully equipped and able to practice independently.

When: Wednesday 6pm to 7pm on 02 March, 09 March and 16 March
