Tell us if you are self-isolating

Guidance for students on what to do if you develop symptoms of Covid-19 or if you are self isolating.

What to do if you have Covid-19 symptoms or are self-isolating

1. Isolate

If you develop symptoms you must isolate for 10 days from when you report them to us. Do not leave your flat or house. Other members of your household must isolate too, for 14 days.

2. Test

Visit the gov.uk website or call 119 to check your symptoms and arrange a test.

If you choose to attend a test centre, our Security team can help transport you there.

If you order a postal test, tell us on Teams so we can bring it to you. We will wait for you to complete the test and then post it for you.

3. Tell

Use this form to tell us if you:

  • have Covid-19 symptoms
  • are self isolating
  • are waiting for a test
  • have received your test results

We will support you.

If you delay telling us, your isolation period could be extended so it is important to complete the form as soon as you start to experience symptoms.

If you are under 18, please contact us on your Teams channel or email selfisolate@bath.ac.uk.

If the situation is urgent email Security at security-office@bath.ac.uk or call 01225 385349

4. Talk

Email studentservices@bath.ac.uk to speak to the Wellbeing Team or use Be Well Talk Now for additional support if you need it.
