How we can help you

The University’s professionally qualified Wellbeing Advisers provide a welfare and wellbeing service to all of our students.

The Wellbeing Advisers are available weekdays from 9am to 8pm, as well as at weekends and during University vacations.

The service is confidential, and can support you with a number of issues including emotional difficulties, relationships, personal and family challenges, loneliness and isolation, mental health and anything affecting your studies.

Students can access Wellbeing by emailing wellbeingservice@bath.ac.uk, or alternatively by telephone on 01225 383838 and letting us know whether you would prefer to meet with us via email, telephone, video or Livechat via Microsoft teams, or face-to-face.

We are happy to talk with you about any exam related concerns or stress you may be experiencing but if you need help with practical or technical information regarding your assessments and exam arrangements, it's best to speak to your department first or take a look at the Exams & Assessment topic page.

Wellbeing Advisers are able to provide free condoms under the Banes C-card scheme. Book a virtual consultation on MySkills. More information is available on our sexual health page.

You can keep up to date with any changes to our services during this time on our Student Services Coronavirus update page.
