When should you self-isolate
If you have symptoms or a positive test
If you have symptoms of a respiratory infection, including COVID-19, and a high temperature or feel unwell, try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people until you feel well enough to resume normal activities and no longer have a high temperature.
If you have a positive COVID-19 test result, you are advised to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 5 days, which is when you are most infectious.
If you have symptoms or test positive, and need support to self-isolate, please e-mail quarantine@bath.ac.uk
Further information can be found on the UK Government webpages
If someone in your household receives a positive test result
You do not need to isolate if a member of your household receives a positive test. If you develop symptoms or receive a positive test you should follow Government advice and stay home (see above).
Cleaning and waste removal services during self-isolation
Cleaning and waste removal will not take place if a member of the household has reported to us they are isolating.
