Teaching Fellow - Italian Language (Part-time)

Take a lead role in delivering excellence in Italian teaching, to enhance the Skills Centre’s Italian language learning offer. You will be contributing to the development of intercultural and employability skills of language learners, both through curricular and co-curricular activities.

About the role:

Our teaching is delivered flexibly, combining in-person and online, in line with the blended learning principles of the Bath Blend. You will be seeking to achieve the highest level of student engagement, learning outcomes and quality are achieved within the student learning experience. Working collaboratively with Course Leaders and other Skills Centre colleagues on our language skills provision you will be central to the creation and selection of materials.

About you:

You will be highly committed to learning, teaching and skills development, with experience of teaching Italian, preferably in a higher education context.

You will have a degree in a relevant subject area, with a language teaching qualification and proficiency in Italian. You will also have an excellent knowledge of language-teaching pedagogy, will be open to growth, to positively engage with further training and happy to share your expertise with colleagues when appropriate. 

You will also have outstanding organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to cultivate an excellent working relationship with the rest of the language team.
