This is an exciting opportunity to join the ESRC-funded project “Risky Business: Understanding intergenerational persistence in entrepreneurship”.

In this 3-year post-doctoral research position, you will be part of an inter-disciplinary team exploring how entrepreneurial parents influence the entrepreneurial career choices of their children, based on a UK birth cohort study. The project will uncover core mechanisms that enable the transmission of entrepreneurial preferences and behaviours from parents to children, identifying new ways to encourage and support entrepreneurialism.

This role will see you working with a number of colleagues from both The School of Management and the Institute for Policy Research (IPR).
