Executive Officer

The Department of Development & Alumni Relations (DDAR) is seeking to recruit an experienced and skilled Executive Officer to join our friendly and fast-paced department, to help us build on our fundraising success and capitalise on University’s philanthropic potential in a rapidly changing funding landscape.

The University of Bath is a nationally and internationally leading University placed in the top 10 rankings of three major national league tables. DDAR plays a leading role in the University’s excellence through philanthropic support and partnerships. You will have significant experience of project management as well as the ability to interact at senior levels within the institution.

Outstanding communication skills, attention to detail and an interest in supporting higher education and research are all essential for the role. Previous experience in a higher education or fundraising setting is desirable, but not essential. Skills in the use of University specific software (particularly Raiser’s Edge) will be an added advantage. However, an interest in our work and a willingness to become fully involved in the life of the Department is equally important.

For more information and an informal discussion about this position please contact Molly Southwood, Acting Co-Director of Development & Alumni Relations (mp366@bath.ac.uk)

Interviews are expecting to take place during the week commencing 13 December.
