The School of Management invites applications for a post at the level of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Teaching) in Accounting. 

We seek a new colleague with teaching interests in accounting and the capability also to teach some basic finance. The successful applicant should be comfortable teaching undergraduate, masters or MBA students. 

The School of Management is undergoing a notable period of faculty expansion and facility improvement which will include moving into a state-of-the-art new building, currently nearing completion. It is a vibrant and productive community and is ranked among the top UK Business Schools. It was ranked 8th in the UK for Business and Management Studies, including 6th in the UK for world class and internationally-leading publications, in the results of the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF). In Accounting and Finance, it was ranked 3rd (The Guardian University Guide 2021), 4th (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021) and 5th (The Complete University Guide 2021).

The University of Bath is situated on a modern campus surrounded by attractive countryside overlooking the centre of Bath, a UNESCO-designated World Heritage City, famous for its Georgian architecture and its cultural festivals. It is a safe and friendly campus with excellent sports facilities (9 Gold Medals in the recent Olympics). Bath is easily accessible by air, road and rail and located only 100 miles west of London (under an hour and a half by train).
