This top-rated, internationally renowned Department is seeking to recruit a pharmacist practitioner or other registered UK health professional as a Teaching Fellow (0.5FTE) to work within our postgraduate pharmacy practice programmes team.

We are seeking a pharmacist or other registered UK health professional with learning and teaching experience to contribute to the delivery and development of our growing Masters programme (including the award of postgraduate diploma) in Clinical Pharmacy Practice (Primary Care and Community Pharmacy).

The successful candidate will be passionate about the development of the Pharmacy workforce in community pharmacy and general practice, with a strong clinical background applicable to the primary care sector, including knowledge of the systems and processes involved in the delivery of clinical care in community pharmacy, general practice and the primary/secondary care interface.

Duties will include designing and developing learning resources, delivering individual and team teaching at face to face workshops in Bath and at sites away from campus, including at our London delivery base in Pall Mall, giving feedback to students and marking student assessments. The successful candidate is likely to be a keen lifelong learner with experience of supporting learning in practice, and a strong commitment to teaching the next generation of pharmacists.

There are over 300 practicing pharmacists currently studying on a part-time, distance learning basis across our Advanced Programmes in Pharmaceutical Practice and Therapeutics range of postgraduate taught awards, and our programmes are growing.

Informal enquiries are welcome and should be directed to the Director of Taught Postgraduate Programmes, Mr Nick Haddington (+44 1225 386029, email N.J.Haddington@bath.ac.uk).
