Salary:  Starting from £16,983, rising to £18,263 pro rata

Graded ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted Westwood Nursery provides 48 places for children aged 6 months to 5 years. 

We are looking for experienced Nursery Assistants, with a Level 2 minimum qualification and sound knowledge and practice of the EYFS, to join our fantastic team of enthusiastic and creative team players.

You will have the ability to work in a team, to observe, assess and plan as a key person, and be able to produce written documentation to support the progress of individual children, being sensitive to their needs. You will need to be highly committed and flexible with good communication and organisation skills.

Full-time and part-time hours are available, on permanent and fixed-term contracts.

The appointment will be made subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) clearance being obtained.

The nursery opening hours are between 8.30 am - 5.45 pm, Monday-Friday, and other benefits include a generous leave entitlement, including closure over the Christmas period, a pension scheme and access to many of the University’s top quality facilities and services.
