The Department of Sports Development and Recreation (DSDR) at the University of Bath manages and organises a range of activities under the University’s sports brand - Team Bath. The Department is seeking a proactive, self-motivated individual to join an expanding membership retention team, working alongside colleagues across various departments to maximise membership retention through enhanced customer engagement, in a busy working environment.
 
You will be required to support the underpinning of retention of the membership and customer base across DSDR activities. This will be achieved through providing effective administration, customer service, communication and support for both joiners and existing customers, coupled with continued process improvement.
 
You should have experience of customer-facing roles, and ideally, credit control and familiarity with software packages/systems that record, monitor and report on customer engagement.
 
This is a permanent part-time role (30 hours per week) looking to commence as soon as possible. Standard working week of Monday to Friday, 6 hours a day from 07.30 until 14.00.
 
The post holder will be required to work 3 or 4 late shifts per month, to suit the business needs and these will be agreed each month with your Line Manager. These shifts will be instead of the standard working hours. Hours for this will be from 12.30 until 19.00. Each shift would include a half hour break entitlement which represents a working week of 30 hours.
