Deputy HR Manager (Maternity Cover up to 12 months commencing 1st May)

ahs provides a range of key services including hospitality, accommodation operations, security and building operations to staff, students and commercial customers across the University of Bath. Our focus in ahs on providing a positive, engaging workplace was recognised by the award of Investors in People Gold in November 2017.  

The role of Deputy HR Manager plays a key role in delivering proactive HR services to enable colleagues to provide an outstanding service to all our customers. Working closely with operational managers as part of a small HR and training team you will manage an HR Advisor and deliver responsive HR support to a fast moving department with clear commercial objectives.

With experience in delivering a broad range of HR advice and guidance, the ability to provide clear, practical HR advice will be essential. Additionally the capability to work in a large, complex organisation where relationship building and resilience are essential will be critical to your success.

This part time role can either be over 5 days (9am to 3.50pm) or Monday to Thursday (9am – 5.20).
