We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated administrator to join our busy Placement Team.

Our engineering and architecture students undertake a placement in industry as part of their sandwich degree and this varied and vital role will provide administrative support to students, the Placement Team and employers.

As the first point of contact, you will need excellent interpersonal skills and be confident working in a busy environment as part of a dynamic team. You will regularly host industrial partners and help students with their enquiries so should have previous experience of working with both parties.

In order to be immediately operational in the role, a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and VLE (i.e. Moodle) are essential.  You will be required to manage and update our IT systems and should be highly computer literate. You should have high levels of attention to detail to ensure accurate records and systems are maintained as well as the organisational skills for running events. You will have good time management skills, with the ability to work effectively to a variety of deadlines, be adaptable and to learn new skills quickly.

The ideal start date for an applicant would be October 2019.
