Applications are invited for a Teaching Fellow position in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematical Sciences.

The successful applicant will have a strong interest in pursuing excellence in teaching, and be able to teach a wide range of mathematics units offered by the Department as described within the Programme & Unit Catalogues. We will consider candidates in all areas but expertise in numerical analysis and applied mathematics is particularly welcome.

· a one page statement of your teaching experience and strategy.

This is a fixed-term position for up to 12 months with the appointee starting in post by 2 September 2019.

Interviews are expected to take place in August, and candidates will be asked to give 20 minute snippet lecture on a topic in first or second year applied mathematics.
