We are seeking to appoint a Manager for the new UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Accountable, Responsible and Transparent Artificial Intelligence (ART-AI) to establish and coordinate this new CDT.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager who will be a key figure for the CDT, working with and supporting the CDT Director and Management Team. You will be responsible for the overall management of the CDT and its administrative team, having oversight of all aspects of its operations. You will contribute to the strategic planning of the CDT and ensuring its long term sustainability. A key aspect of the role will be engagement with a significant number of colleagues across the University and with external stakeholders.

As CDT Manager, you will have significant project management experience, good analytical skills and experience in the Higher Education sector, along with an understanding of the research and doctoral training environments. You will possess strong leadership and excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with a range of stakeholders both internal and external to the University.

This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week), fixed term basis with an expected end date of September 2027.
