The Department of Chemistry are seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Organic Chemistry with effect from 1st September 2019. This is a full time (36.5 hours), fixed term position of up to 2 years.

Our department is home to internationally recognised scientists, research teams and cross-disciplinary centres that deliver world-class collaborative research with a real impact on our society.

The successful candidate will be expected to prepare and deliver teaching material, assessment and marking of coursework in organic chemistry. The position will require the supervision of undergraduate laboratory classes and will offer the post holder the opportunity to deliver outreach activities.

The role carries a high level of responsibility as well as the opportunity to play a proactive and creative role in the development of teaching activities in the Department. The successful applicant will have a proven record of high quality teaching in chemistry.
