The Finance & Procurement Office is inviting applications for a part-time Accounting Technician (29.2 hours/0.8 FTE) to join its Management Accounting team, reporting to the Head of Management Accounting.

You will provide Financial Support to the Professional Services Accountant and the Research Accountant, Business Partnering Support to Professional Services Departments and produce Quarterly Management Accounting Information.

It is essential that you are at least AAT qualified with experience of working in large/complex organisations, providing a quality customer facing service to a variety of users. You should have strong technical knowledge and skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work on your own initiative, but also contribute positively to team goals.

Whilst the position is based within the City of Bath it is expected that there will be a requirement to travel to the University Campus where the majority of employees work.
