We are seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join our small studentship team within the University’s Finance & Procurement Office. This is a demanding role and the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day financial accounting and administration of various UKRI funded training grants including collaboration agreements with other institutions and other associated studentship funding.

Under the line management of the Studentship Accountant, you will be working with our finance (Agresso) and student (SITS) systems including Excel spreadsheets and the UKRI Research Councils’ portal (JeS).  You will need to be a confident systems’ user able to input and extract, access and manipulate data.  The role involves liaising with students, sponsors, academics and other administrators across the University, and other collaborating universities.  Excellent communication and customer relation skills are therefore essential as well as an ability to support others in the team to ensure deadlines are met.

The position is based at our Claverton Down campus and offers a range of employee benefits. This is a part-time role, working 21.9 hours week.
