As the Advice & Support Manager, you will lead the Advice and Support Service at The SU Bath and continue the development of a range of services which are key to the student experience. 

You will be responsible for managing the SU’s independent advice & support service. The service provides information and support for students on academic, housing, and personal matters. This can range from advising students on how to challenge academic decisions to supporting students in reporting harassment incidences. Where appropriate, the service also signposts students to relevant services in both the University and the local community.

You will also be responsible for supporting two student-led support groups, as well as advising and supporting on inclusivity, diversity, and equality throughout the SU. 

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual with a drive to help students. You will have a background and relevant experience in advice work including the management of an advice service, with excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. We are also looking for someone with knowledge and understanding of different academic and welfare issues affecting students in Higher Education.
