Are you passionate about food? And do you love to working in a dedicated team? We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team part time 7.5 hours per week. 

You will be expected to work 2.5 hours, three days per week, on a permanent basis, commencing June 2021. 

Ideally you will have experience in working with children. 

As a Lunchtime Assistant you will assist the Nursery staff during the lunch period. You will support the team by providing high quality support under the guidance of the Room Leader or team members.  You are responsible for maintaining a safe secure and caring environment for the children.

About us

The Westwood Nursery opened on site in 1977 and has provided childcare for 48 children for staff, students and the wider community since then.  We work very closely with many other departments within the University of Bath to ensure the safety and wellbeing and best possible education for children.

We have been graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted for 3-consecutive inspections and continue to maintain this level of excellence in all that we do.

We are open between 8.30am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday.
