Based in our inspiring Sports Training Village, TeamBath Tennis provide activities, services and facility provision to students, university staff, the local community and to high performance athletes.

The role:

As Regional Performance Development Head Tennis Coach you will:

  • deliver high performance coaching and management to some of Britain's top 10-14 year olds
  • develop competitive, technical, physical and psychological insight working towards long-term tennis development and educational needs
  • Influence the wider performance pathway based at TeamBath and the Southwest.
  • Lead and develop 2 performance tennis coaches on the RPDC/IHPC academy

Working in performance sport will require you to work flexible hours in line with athletes training schedules, this may include early morning, evening and weekend work. You will also need to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

This is full-time role, for a fixed-term period until August 2023.

About You:

Ideally you will have a LTA level 5 Master Performance Coach (MPC) qualification, however if you are a level 4 Senior Performance Coach (SPC) with a solid understanding of the performance pathway and network along with good interpersonal skills and an ability to learn, we would still love to hear from you.
