You will join the Algebra, Geometry, and Number Theory group which is active in algebraic and differential geometry, group theory, representation theory, and number theory. The group has a weekly seminar which you will be able to participate in.

Dr Loughran is in the process of creating a new centre for number theory at Bath. You will join our highly active team which currently includes 3 PhD students. We have a weekly team meeting where we study together recent papers and topics of interest.
