The Committee Officer is the engine room of the governance team. You will work collaboratively within the team to ensure an exceptional standard of service delivery by providing critical and seamless support to Council, Senate and all their committees. Key committee tasks include annual planning, drawing up agenda, commissioning and drafting papers and drafting minutes. In all these activities you place an emphasis on flexibility, operational delivery and continuous improvement.

You will take responsibility for maintaining action and decision logs for Council, Senate and their committees and for ensuring that colleagues are informed and reminded of their actions in a supportive and timely fashion. You will also oversee record-keeping for the team and will be adept at finding innovative solutions for the management of the team’s information in a streamlined and effective manner. You will exercise sound judgement and excellent communication skills in managing these processes for senior University leaders within a busy environment.
