About the role

The WIN is looking for a creative and energetic Project Officer to deliver and enhance a programme of activities for school and college students from years 9 to 13. The postholder will be a team player, with experience of working with young people in formal and informal settings, the person appointed will focus on designing activities to increase confidence, foster resilience and expand horizons.

The person appointed will also support the WIN Project Manager and project team in the overall management of the project especially in delivering activities such as workshops, subject specific trips and talks.

About you

You will be educated to at least first-degree level (or equivalent) the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including parents/carers, teachers and youth and community groups.

A successful applicant with have a  positive attitude and a strong commitment to building good working relationships and developing collaborative projects with the WIN partner schools and colleges is imperative..

The postholder will work as a member of the WIN team, which aims to increase progression to higher education in areas where fewer than average numbers of qualified young people continue on to further study. The WIN is one of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) consortia funded by the Office for Students (OfS) and covers Bath, North Somerset and Wiltshire.

This a part time post fixed term post until 31st July, 2021. The working hours are 14.6 per week.
