The Undergraduate Student Recruitment Team is looking to appoint an Undergraduate Student Recruitment Manager to lead on the strategic delivery of recruitment activity to encourage prospective undergraduate students based in the UK to choose to study at Bath, a triple top UK university located on a green campus on the outskirts of the historic city of Bath.

The post will develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate a range of recruitment activities and play a lead role in contributing to achieving the University’s undergraduate recruitment and enrolment targets. This role is focused on UK recruitment, but there will be the occasional opportunity to support the recruitment of international students. The postholder will be required to visits schools, colleges and Higher Education fairs throughout the UK and Ireland, and some of these locations will not be easily accessible via public transport.

You will ensure that the UG Student Recruitment Team (UK) builds effective relationships with prospective students, teachers, parents, careers advisors, and key external partners. Recruitment activity will be delivered both digitally and in person, and you will be required to engage effectively with both individuals and groups while providing high-quality information, advice, and guidance to enable informed decision-making. You will develop a broad knowledge of Bath's undergraduate courses and of the value that our degrees offer to our graduates, and will take responsibility for the ongoing training and development of staff responsible for the delivery of student recruitment activity.

The successful candidate will need to complete a full, satisfactory DBS check.

For an informal discussion about this role please contact Steven Lawrence, Acting Head of UK Undergraduate Recruitment, at or on 01225 383649. A full Job Description with person specification can be found below.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the Student Recruitment Team is temporarily working from home, while delivering a range of in-person and online student recruitment activities. While this is likely to remain the case for the foreseeable future, it is anticipated that this role will require the postholder to be on campus for at least part of the week. Therefore, the post holder will need to be located, or be willing to relocate, so that they can commute to our Bath-based campus when required. If you wish to discuss this in more detail, please contact Steven Lawrence (details above) before applying.
