The University of Bath is looking for a passionate and hardworking individual for the role of Online Programmes and Partnership Officer. The role is part of the Online team in Learning Partnerships Office (LPO). The Officer will be responsible for centralised key academic administration processes relating to programmes and the associated management of the student lifecycle, tracking and progression for the University’s Online courses.

The flexibility of the Online programmes provision means that there are multiple intakes throughout the year. The Officer will therefore need to be extremely well organised, with excellent attention to detail, in order to follow the progression of each student individually.

As one of the main points of contact for both academic departments and the partner, the postholder will need to be able to absorb and assimilate key procedural concepts, complex information and reports quickly and effectively to advise other stakeholders accurately.

As well as being highly organised the postholder will need to be proactive, able to work with a high degree of accuracy and maintain confidentiality. They will need to have a positive attitude and build and maintain effective professional relationships with a wide range of people internal and external to the University, however this is not a student facing role. We welcome applications from people with education based administrative experience.

This is a full-time (36.5 hours per week), permanent position.

For informal enquiries about this role please contact Sophie Pawson, Online Programmes Manager (Operations), sep60@bath.ac.uk
