The Undergraduate Student Recruitment Team is looking to appoint an Undergraduate Student Recruitment Officer to support the recruitment of undergraduate students. This post will contribute to the development and delivery of recruitment activity and will contribute to the achievement of the University’s undergraduate recruitment and enrolment targets. This role will be predominately focused on UK recruitment, but there may be occasional opportunities to support the recruitment of international students.

You will take a lead role in building vital relationships with key external stakeholders, including prospective students, teachers, parents, and careers advisors. Recruitment activity will take place through both digital and face to face engagement, and you will be expected to engage effectively with both individuals and groups while providing high quality information, advice and guidance to enable informed decision making. You will develop a broad knowledge of the University’s undergraduate courses and of the value that a Bath degree offers to our graduates.

The successful candidate will be expected to complete a full, satisfactory DBS check. The postholder will be required to visits schools, colleges and Higher Education fairs throughout the UK and Ireland, and some of these locations will not be easily accessible via public transport.

The Undergraduate Student Recruitment Team is currently working in the office on-campus up to 2 days per week, with the rest of the time spent working either at home or delivering events off-campus. While this is likely to remain the case for the foreseeable future, it is possible that the proportion of office working could increase. Therefore, the post holder will need to be willing to be located at a commutable distance to our Bath campus.
