Based in our Department of Chemical Engineering, the Laboratory Technician is a crucial role to the support required by our next generation of engineers.

Day to day you will:

  • will assist in the organisation, coordination and maintenance of our teaching and research laboratories
  • provide advice, instruction and services in analytical and instrumentation techniques to staff and students,
  • ensure that laboratory equipment and instrumentation is appropriately maintained and in full working order
  • assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of equipment
  • promote compliance with health and safety.
